A multiplayer game developed in Unity as a project in order to complete a National Diploma in Information Technology.
- UI driven by embedded Lua environment,
- Modability due to Lua and a specially designed config system used to define items
- Multiplayer built upon Unity's networking
Over the course of the project I dealt with networking, Lua -> Mono communication, UI, AI and character handling. Within the networking section I handled synchronisation of inventories in a client-server architecture and semi-prediction of character and AI movement. The AI within the game could be considered simplistic however, the focus of the game is more around the players with the AI serving as a backdrop.
